Candidate Statement

I got involved in local politics after reviewing my property tax bill in February 2005. I have seen first hand the effects of partisan politics. I believe that elected officials should work for all people. Remember the saying “for the people by the people”. I am one of those people. Many times Board members receive information on agenda items less than an hour before we are to vote. My colleagues on the Board think nothing of this and vote along party lines. We must re-establish an independent Board.
