The public is invited to attend the 2nd annual Dinner of the Gates Democrats on Thursday, June 8th at Rick’s Prime Rib House at 6:30 pm and to hear speaker Eric Massa, candidate for the 29th Congressional District.

Eric Massa returned home from Europe to successfully beat a terminal diagnosis of cancer. Eric and his family reside in Corning, NY where his professional time has focused on management positions at Corning, Inc and as Staff Member of the U. S. House Armed Services Committee, where he worked on Congressional Staff in oversight of naval construction and procurement. Eric Massa was a Senior Advisor to General Clark’s Presidential campaign in 2004 in New Hampshire. All who have heard him know him to be a dynamic and well informed speaker and an outstanding candidate for Congressional office.
Dinner reservations for Rick’s Prime Rib buffet are $30 per person or $280 for a table of 10. Please respond to Gates Democratic Committee, 109 Harpington Drive, Rochester, NY 14624 by June 5th. Call 247-0142 or 473-4639 for more information.
The Gates Democratic Committee, restarted in March 2004, presented its first slate of local candidates in the 2005 elections, winning 46% of the vote in key races. Given the narrowing gap between Republicans and Democrats in the town, all are predicting that Gates will be the next Town to go Democratic after Brighton, Irondequoit and Mendon.
